| Description |
A large-scale showcase for the international
tourism trade. Displays are concentrated on the achievements
and the broad development prospects of the tourism industry
in East Asian countries.
At the 1st East Asia International Travel Fair, there were about
1000 exhibitors from Japan, Russia, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia,
Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, Turkey, Zimbabwe and 22 other countries
and areas. The rich fruits of the fair were 110 travel cooperative
projects, and 36 letters of intent for travel projects. As a
result, the cooperative investment capital reached RMB726 million.
It was estimated that the organized tours and receipted tours
would be about 3.35 million by the end of 2004, and the upper
benefit would be RMB2.16 billion. |
